Blazers’ Stankoven rules the roost in Canadian junior hockey

KAMLOOPS — The hometown kid has won the big hardware.
Kamloops native and Blazers forward Logan Stankoven has been named the Canadian Hockey League Player of the Year, winning the David Branch Award.
Stankoven amassed 104 points in 59 games for the WHL B.C. Division champion Blazers, finishing third in league scoring. He added 31 more points in 17 playoff games.
