BRIDGE LAKE, B.C. — RCMP are investigating a threats complaint from Bridge Lake over the weekend.

In a news release, 100 Mile House RCMP say the incident happened Saturday afternoon (June 25) just before 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Interlakes Market.

Police say the male victim was confronted by ‘an unknown man’ who pushed the victim, challenged him to a fight and threatened to inflict ‘serious bodily harm’.

The suspect, as well as a woman who was present, then got into a vehicle and left.

Sgt. Brad McKinnon says strangely, the victim did not know his assailant.

“The victim does not know who the suspect is and we hope the public can offer assistance to help identify him,” said McKinnon.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact 100 Mile House RCMP at (250) 395-2456.
