Full schedule lined up for Kamloops Symphony’s 2022/23 season

KAMLOOPS — With a full orchestral schedule planned, Kamloops Symphony will have 11 different programs for its 2022/23 season.

Notable productions in the Masterworks Series include Brahm’s German Requiem and Beethoven’s popular Symphony No. 9 ‘Ode to Joy’.

The pop side of the season will feature Canadian artist Sarah Slean with a Joni Mitchell inspired performance, a Billy Joel and Elton John tribute and an orchestral performance from Thorgy Thor — who was an all star contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Executive Director Daniel Mills says KSO is excited to hold a full season of performances, after the changes navigated during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We had lots of questions about subscriptions and seats and those kind of things throughout the year,” he explains. “As soon as we go on sale we’re expecting a lot of those people to return and be very excited and join us for the ride that is our next year.”
