Clearwater emergency department closed Saturday night

CLEARWATER — The emergency department at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital will be closed overnight Saturday (June 25), according to a news release from Interior Health (IH).
The department will be closed from 6 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday (June 26).
IH says the closure is due to limited staffing availability.
Those needing emergency care while the department is closed can call 9-1-1 or visit the emergency department at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
