Manitoba RCMP investigation leads to arrest of a man in Aberdeen

KAMLOOPS — A man under investigation by the Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Unit was arrested in Kamloops Monday evening (June 20).
In a news release Tuesday morning, Kamloops RCMP say they arrested a man in Aberdeen and held him in custody. RCMP add there was a heavy police presence in the 1100-block of Rogers Way at around 5:30 p.m.
Cpl. Dana Napier with Kamloops RCMP says as the investigation was led by the Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Unit, any inquiries will be managed by that detachment.
No further information will be released at this time, but Napier says a follow-up news release will be issued in the coming days.
