Final hours for Kamloops Y Dream Home ticket sales

KAMLOOPS — Monday (June 20) is the last day to purchase tickets for this year’s Y Dream Home Lottery Draw. The home up for grabs is located in Tobiano and valued at more than $1.2 million.

More tickets were made available for this year’s draw. According to Bryce Herman with the Kamloops Y, multi-ticket packs have sold out, but single tickets for the home and prize draws are still available.

“Typical last day, everything is a little bit of a flurry. But ticket sales are going very well — we’re in great shape, but we still have a few tickets left,” he reiterates. “If you haven’t got your ticket in this year’s Y Dream Home Lottery, you’re going to want to do it before 11:59 p.m. tonight.”

The 50/50 jackpot is also approaching $1 million, with the winner taking half of the cash. Proceeds from the annual lottery will go to support the Kamloops YMCA/YWCA programs.

“It’s a gorgeous home. $1.2 plus million dollars, 26 bonus prizes in this year’s draw, minimum of any of the prize packages is about $2,500 and goes all the way up to cars, motorcycles, trips, grocery packages — you name it, they’re all in there,” adds Herman.

Ticket sales close just before midnight Monday evening, and the prize draws begin at 9:00 a.m on June 28.
