Kamloops woman says $500,000 lotto jackpot will help her buy a house

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops woman says she plans on using a recent lottery jackpot to help her upgrade her housing situation.

Kimberly Penzkofer won $500,000 on the May 27 Lotto Max draw, splitting the prize with a ticket purchaser in Delta.

Penzkofer says she couldn’t believe her win, scanning her ticket several times with the BCLC Lotto! app before the impact of her victory set in.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Chevron station on Eighth Street in Kamloops.
