Clearwater emergency room to close Sunday to Monday: Interior Health

CLEARWATER, B.C. — In news that is becoming all too common for Clearwater residents, the community’s emergency department will be closed again this weekend.

Interior Health says the closure will begin on Sunday (June 12) at 5:00 p.m. and last until Monday morning at 7:00 a.m.

The closure, again, is due to “unforeseen limited staffing availability.”

Local residents in need of emergency medical care are encouraged to call 9-1-1 or visit the emergency department at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
