Kamloops RCMP arrest man for erratic driving, seize drugs and weapons

KAMLOOPS — Drugs and weapons were seized after a Kamloops man was arrested for reportedly driving erratically on the city’s north shore.
Kamloops RCMP say they attended the 700-block of Fortune Drive on June 2 at around 10:20 p.m. after a complaint involving a car that was driving all over the road, turning its lights on and off, and going at erratic speeds. After conducting a traffic stop, police say the driver was discovered to be prohibited.
Officers seized suspected drugs, cash, knives, an axe, baton, and other items, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. The man was released with a future court date.
