KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking for help tracking down a suspect in a Sahali armed robbery Monday afternoon (June 6).

According to Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, the incident happened at about 2:50 p.m. Monday, at a business in the 1200-block of Summit Drive. RCMP officers rushed to that spot after receiving a report of a robbery in progress.

As police were en route, the suspect is believed to have changed his clothes behind First Choice Haircutters before running away.

The canine unit attended and found the suspected gun used in the crime, but could not find the suspect. RCMP also recovered a bright green hat, camo jacket, distinctive white sweater and black pants.
