McArthur Island skate park closed for improvements

KAMLOOPS — The skate park at McArthur Island will be closed from June 1 to 16 as the City upgrades the park.

In a tweet last week, the City announced they will lay new concrete and install lights at the park.

We will be performing upgrades to the skate park at McArthur Island, including new concrete and lights. The skate park will be closed June 1–16. Check out Exhibition Park (River St), Rae-Mor Park, or the longboard track at Highland Park (Pacific Way) as alternatives! #Kamloops pic.twitter.com/WbTx5aFXlG

They recommend skaters to check out Exhibition Park on River Street, Rae-Mor Park in Rayleigh, ot the longboard track at Highland Park as alternatives while the park is closed.
