Lightning storm slams Kamloops area Tuesday

KAMLOOPS — A severe lightning storm rumbled into Kamloops Tuesday afternoon (May 31).

Moving in during the 1:00 p.m. hour, the storm brought dozens of lightning strikes combined with heavy rain.

In Aberdeen, the storm was accompanied by hail that gathered on lawns and homes.
