
Woman driving stolen car arrested in 100 Mile House
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — A 20-year-old woman known to 100 Mile House RCMP was arrested Sunday (May 29) night after reportedly driving a stolen vehicle.
Police say a witness reported that his girlfriend, who had been driving from the Fraser Valley to 100 Mile House, told him that the vehicle she was in was stolen when in 100 Mile House.
RCMP say officers patrolled and located a 2016 Ford Fiesta stolen from the Mission area in the 500-block of Cedar Avenue. They say the woman was arrested without incident.
The vehicle was seized by RCMP, and the woman taken to cells and later released on conditions. Police say her name cannot be provided to the public as no charges have been sworn by Crown counsel at this time.
