KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are seeking information from the public on a gunpoint robbery on the North Shore Sunday (May 29) night.

Officers responded to the 300-block of Tranquille Road at around 10:00 p.m. where a man with a firearm allegedly walked into a store and demanded cash and products.

“Afterwards, the man walked northbound on Tranquille Road with two green bags and the firearm in hand,” Cst. Crystal Evelyn says. “We’re hoping someone saw something or captured an image that can help police further the investigation.”

The suspect is described as a 6’1” tall, white male in his 30s with thick eyebrows. He was reportedly wearing a black hoodie with a white shirt hanging out the bottom, green baseball cap, ski mask, blue or grey pants and camouflage gloves.

RCMP say the man is believed to be associated to a dark sedan that was parked nearby during the duration of the robbery.

Anyone who witnessed the armed robbery or has security or dash cam footage, or information related to the investigation, is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP.
