Friday night fight on Kamloops Transit bus turns into stabbing

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking for witnesses and evidence after a stabbing in downtown Kamloops last Friday (May 20).
In a news release, spokesperson Cst. Crystal Evelyn says the incident began on a Kamloops Transit bus before 8:20 p.m. Friday.
Three men became involved in fight on the bus that continued once they got off near Fourth Avenue and Seymour Street. One man was injured with non-life threatening stab wounds.
“As police move forward with the investigation, we are asking for anyone who witnessed or captured the altercation on a cellphone video to please contact police,” said Evelyn.
