RCMP seek person of interest in Versatile Drive truck-keying

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP have distributed a photo of a person of interest in a mischief investigation from a month ago.

On April 12 after 4:30 p.m., the local detachment received a report of a truck that was badly keyed while parked in a parking lot in the 1600-block of Versatile Drive. The keying came after a “nasty” note had been left on the truck concerning the driver’s parking job.

“Since the initial report was received, police have collected dash cam footage which shows a person of interest in this incident,” said detachment spokesperson Cst. Crystal Evelyn in a news release. “Police are looking to speak with the person to help further the investigation.”
