Red Bridge to close nightly midweek for bridge inspection

KAMLOOPS — Drivers looking to cross the South Thompson River during the evening in the middle of the week will need to plan ahead.

In a social media post, Argo Roads Thompson – B.C.’s road maintenance contractor for the Thompson region – says the Red Bridge on Mount Paul Way will be closed nightly Tuesday (May 10), Wednesday (May 11), and Thursday (May 12) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. due to bridge inspection.

A detour will be available via Yellowhead Bridge.
