Landslide knocks out power in Valemount area

VALEMOUNT, B.C. — A landslide in the Valemount area has cut electricity to 16 BC Hydro customers.

BC Hydro says a geotechnical crew will assess the stability of the area before any crews will be assigned to repair the power line.

Power was knocked out at 4:01 p.m. Friday (May 6).
