One dead in morning crash near Walmart complex in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — RCMP say one person has died in a morning crash in Kamloops.
Cst. Crystal Evelyn says the single-vehicle collision was called in just before 8:30 a.m. Witnesses at the scene say a vehicle went over an embankment near Hillside Drive and Notre Dame Drive, ending up beside a building in the Walmart complex.
Evelyn says investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash, and there are no details on the identity of the victim.
