Coroner called to Mission Flats area Monday night

KAMLOOPS – There was a heavy police presence in the Mission Flats area of Kamloops Monday night (Apr. 25).
A witness has reported seeing a BC Coroners Service vehicle along with several RCMP vehicles stopped in the area shortly after 9 p.m.
The witness said police interest appeared to be concentrated on an area along the bank of the river.
RCMP have confirmed the coroner was called as part of their investigation but have not released any further information on the situation at this point.
