HOLLYWOOD — Cameron Whitcomb is coming home.
The 18-year-old Kamloops pipeliner who went from never performing in front of an audience to American Idol’s Top 20 was eliminated from the competition Monday night (Apr. 19).
Whitcomb performed The SteelDrivers’ If It Hadn’t Been For Love, and though the judges praised his rendition, it wasn’t enough to get him through to the next stage.
In an Instagram post, Whitcomb thanked his supporters and promised, “You haven’t heard the last of me yet.”
