Nominated by Anne Gunderson – “I am nominating Flutter Buys Thrift Store because hospice is really important to me. My dad passed away in Prince George hospice and they made him feel as comfortable as he could be. If I can shop somewhere to help someone else’s loved one be a little more comfortable before they say goodbye, then I will. This store has great staff that treats my daughter and I with welcoming smiles. I also find wicked movies and clothes there 😊💜 I adore this store and the staff. They work so hard for such a great reason. They’ve amplified Kamloops by being there for every different type of shopper and they donate to a great cause. They work their butts off to be at the Brock Shopping Center. They have great prices that anyone can afford. Thank you.”

“Flutter Buys is a thrift store that was opened in 2001. The proceeds from the store support the programs and services provided by the Kamloops Hospice Association. Flutter Buys continues to look for ways to meet the needs of our community and we appreciate the support from the many volunteers and donors throughout the region.”
