Kamloops Mounties recover stolen vehicle

KAMLOOPS — Early Tuesday (April 12) morning, Kamloops RCMP spotted a stolen vehicle in Valleyview. After following the suspect’s car into a gas station, Mounties initiated a traffic stop.

The driver was arrested for possession of stolen property and issued a violation ticket for no driver’s license. A passenger was also arrested for breaching probation conditions. Both were released with a court date.

As the investigation is still ongoing, additional charges against the two individuals are still pending.

The stolen vehicle was towed from the scene and returned to its owner.
