Wells Gray Tours

Nominated by Steve Niemeier – “Wells Gray Tours is celebrating 50 years of global travel in May of this year. This company, which began with day tours to Wells Gray Park, has taken me to 7 continents as well as provided me with close to home experiences in BC, Canada, and around the world.  Tour groups travel by motorcoach, cruise ship, air, and train.  Twice a year, the company offers the popular ‘Mystery Tours’ to undisclosed destinations and customers don’t even know where they are going.  These playful and well-crafted tours sell out each season.  All tours are geared toward offering a pleasing mix of free and scheduled time. Congratulations to Roland and his staff who have worked tirelessly planning, canceling, and replanning tours during the pandemic.  They have addressed safety protocols and created new avenues for communication that have kept all us travelers excited and ready to move when safe to do so.
