Police seize drugs and guns during Williams Lake search warrant

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Four arrests have been made following a drug seizure in Williams Lake.

Members of the Cariboo Chilcotin Crime Reduction Unit (CC-CRU) and National Weapons Enforcement Support Team (NWEST) executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Cameron Street on March 31.

Police removed 170 grams or suspected fentanyl, 70 grams of suspected crack cocaine, five handguns, seven long guns and money consistent with drug trafficking.

The CC-CRU is tasked reducing crime in the Cariboo region.
