Electoral Boundaries Commission stops in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — The BC Electoral Boundaries Commission is holding a public meeting in Kamloops today (April 8) as part of its province-wide consultation period.

The Commission is an independent and non-partisan commission that strives to establish provincial electoral boundaries fairly across the province.

Following the consultation period, the commission will develop a report for the legislature, suggesting changes to improve the effectiveness of representation.

Today’s in-person meeting will be held at the Thompson Hotel & Conference Centre on Victoria Street and begins at noon.
