MERRITT, B.C. — An Abbotsford man caught in a stolen vehicle driving on the Coquihalla Highway through Merritt pleaded guilty last week.
On March 31, RCMP say Tyler Klutskow was sentenced to one year in jail, along with being given one year probation and a one year driving prohibition. He pleaded guilty to possession of stolen property, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failure to comply with release order.
The charges stem from Sept. 8, 2021, where RCMP received a call reporting a silver Acura RDX driving at erratic speeds on Highway 5 near Comstock Road. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Abbotsford that morning.
