100 Mile House RCMP appeal for information about missing Lone Butte man

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — RCMP in 100 Mile House are looking for the public’s help tracking down a missing person.

Lone Butte resident Jacob Borgford, 28, was last seen March 16. Though he leads a transient lifestyle, RCMP say it’s out of character for him to be out of contact for so long. Borgford’s mother told police she had not seen him since March 13.

• 5’10”
• Thin build
• Blonde hair

RCMP say Borgford was last seen on March 16 at about 5:30 p.m. near the 100 Mile House library, in the company of a short, pregnant woman with brown hair and another man. Borgford was wearing a yellow sweatshirt, blue plain pajama pants and carrying a backpack. RCMP say the trio appeared to be preparing to leave town.

Police say Borgford could be anywhere in B.C., including the Lower Mainland.
