THERE ARE VERY FEW who would not believe that Vladimir Putin is currently the most dangerous man in the world. He has recently been shown to be heartless, power-hungry, egotistical and according to many, unafraid of the Western world. While peace talks continue to progress slowly with Ukraine, they are more demands than discussions, with Putin dictating the terms.
Anyone who is willing to bomb a maternity hospital, a theatre housing hundreds of refugees and residential neighbourhoods is a man who should be feared. While the West has imposed serious sanctions on Russia, those sanctions not only seriously damage Russia’s economy, they also have impacts on our own. And most Western leaders, especially in Europe, are afraid to push too hard because they know that Putin, more so than anyone, may well resort to that most dangerous weapon of all, and push the button that will forever change our lives.
With Donald Trump regrouping, Putin is definitely the man at the top of the list of the Most Dangerous Men in the World.
