Suspect identified in North Shore parking lot stabbing
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP have identified a suspect involved in a triple stabbing on the North Shore Saturday (March 12) evening.
In a news release Thursday (March 17) morning, Cst. Crystal Evelyn says a female suspect and a man with a white truck who police were looking to speak with have been identified.
“A woman was arrested and released with conditions, pending the investigation’s conclusion and subsequent charge recommendation approval process,” Cst. Evelyn says.
The incident began when two women reportedly began fighting inside a pub on the 700-block of Sydney Avenue, then went outside and continued in the parking lot. RCMP say the altercation escalated and one woman allegedly stabbed the other woman, the woman’s companion and a bystander who tried to break it up.
