Quesnel drug bust nets drugs, cash, shotgun
QUESNEL, B.C. — A 35-year-old Quesnel man is back in custody following a drug bust yesterday (Mar.15).
Quesnel RCMP say the Quesnel Crime Reduction Unit (CRU), with the help of RCMP Police Dog Services, arrested the man following the execution of a search warrant at a dwelling unit on the 300 block of St. Laurent Avenue at around 2:30 p.m.
Sgt. Richard Weseen says RCMP seized a large quantity of heroin, cash, and a loaded sawed-off shotgun.
“During this one-week investigation, CRU observed steady foot traffic coming and going from this location. It was abundantly clear that the man was dealing drugs from the unit,” said Cpl. Mark Isaak.
