Logan Lake man charged after allegedly steering off Highway 97C

MERRITT, B.C. — A man from Logan Lake who allegedly steered a vehicle off the highway was charged by Merritt RCMP on Feb. 28.
Officers were called to a collision near the 3200-block of Highway 97C on Jan. 19 where two occupants had crashed off the highway. RCMP say the driver alleged that the passenger intentionally grabbed the steering wheel and crashed the vehicle after an argument.
The Logan Lake man was arrested without incident, and his matters is before the courts. He’s charged with dangerous driving, assault, and uttering threats.
