Sewer line upgrade to snarl downtown Kamloops traffic
KAMLOOPS — Crews will begin work this week on an infrastructure project downtown on Fourth Avenue from Columbia Street to Battle Street and part of Third Avenue.
The City is asking drivers to slow down and give crews space to work. They don’t anticipate any closures but there may be single lane alternating traffic at times.
“Along the road itself adjacent to construction, we’ll maintain traffic in both directions, but if you can avoid it please do so,” said Darren Crundwell, capital projects manager with the City.
