Quesnel RCMP arrest man wanted on Canada-wide warrant

QUESNEL — Mounties in Quesnel arrested a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant yesterday (Mar.8) morning.
Quesnel RCMP Sgt. Clay Kronebusch says at just after 11:30 A.M., police arrested 33-year-old Robert Hendrikus Hovestad.
“Hovestad was found hiding out in a residence on Allard Street,” he says. “Hovestad initially refused to come out of the residence, but after a short interaction, he exited the residence and surrendered to police without incident.”
RCMP say Hovestad was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for a parole violation.
