Major Crime Unit investigating murder in Lytton

The Southeast District Major Crime Unit (SED MCU) are investigating after what they’re calling a suspicious death of a woman in Lytton.
On Feb. 19, RCMP officers were called after a woman’s body was discovered in a Lytton home. Upon further investigation the death was determined to be a homicide.
SED MCU has taken over the investigation.
“This tragic incident is believed to be an isolated one and there is no perceived danger to the public,” said Sergeant Chris Manseau from BC RCMP.
