RCMP seize drugs, pellet gun after North Shore traffic stop
KAMLOOPS — An early morning traffic stop yielded a cache of drugs for Kamloops RCMP Thursday (Mar. 3).
An officer patrolling the North Shore at about 2:40 a.m. stopped a vehicle near Eighth Street and Sudbury Avenue for driving without its headlights on.
While the Mountie was speaking to the driver, he noticed the butt end of a rifle.
Once backup arrived, the officer arrested the driver and passenger for possession of a dangerous weapon.
