Councillor Singh to announce intention for fall election

KAMLOOPS – With the recent announcement by Mayor Ken Christian that he would not seek reelection this fall, speculation has begun around the future members of City Council.

Residents will soon learn of the plans of Councillor Arjun Singh. Singh has called a news conference for Friday (Mar. 4) morning to announce his plans for the Oct. 15 municipal election.

Singh captured 59 per cent of the vote in the 2018 election, the most among the Councillor candidates.

If a website easily found on the internet is any indication, the long-time councillor is preparing to run for the Mayor’s seat this fall.
