Williams Lake Seniors Village added to IH COVID-19 outbreak list

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Williams Lake Seniors Village (WLSV) has been added to the Interior Health facility outbreak list. The facility had a COVID-19 outbreak declared on Thursday (Feb. 17).
WLSV has independent living, assisted living and complex care facets, and the COVID-19 outbreak is on its long-term care side.
There are 11 COVID-19 outbreaks within Interior Health as of Friday afternoon (Feb. 18). They include ongoing outbreaks at Overlander Residential Care and Ponderosa Lodge in Kamloops, as well as Hillside Village in Salmon Arm.
