Britney Spears invited to testify before Congress

Congress has invited Britney Spears to testify about the harsh conditions of her conservatorship. They would like for her to describe in her own words, how she achieved justice.

Posting about the invitation letter she received, Spears said that it made her feel like she was being heard for the first time in her life.

Congress hopes to learn more about her experience, so that others won’t have to go through it the same way.

Spears did not say whether or not she plans to go to Washington, but did express how grateful she was to be acknowledged.
