Three Blazers invited to CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers will have three representatives at the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) / National Hockey League (NHL) Top Prospects Game in March.

Center Fraser Minten, forward Matthew Seminoff and defenceman Mats Lindgren are three of the 40 players invited by the CHL in association with NHL Central Scouting. The Top Prospects Game showcases the top-40 CHL players eligible for the 2022 NHL Entry Draft in July.

The NHL Central Scouting Top-50 ranking for North American skaters has Lindgren at No. 30, Minten at No. 34 and Seminoff at No. 50.

Lindgren has 34 points (four goals and 30 assists) in 46 games with the Blazers this season, T-12. in scoring for Western Hockey League defencemen. Seminoff is second in Blazers scoring with 44 points (19 goals and 25 assists) in 42 games, while Minten is fifth in Blazers scoring with 34 points (14 goals and 20 assists) in 45 games.
