City of Merritt and NVIT partner in new training opportunity

MERRITT, B.C. — The City of Merritt and the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology are partnering to bring a new training opportunity to the community. The Workplace Skills Training Program is free for participants through the financial support of the Province of British Columbia.
Participants must preregister through NVIT by February 28th as space is limited.
The Workplace Skills Training Program will be delivered over 5-weeks on Friday mornings from March 4, 2022 to April 1, 2022 at the NVIT Campus.
“It is great to work in partnership with the City of Merritt to provide front line workers with the opportunity to enhance their skills and increase their employability which will help to sustain businesses in our community” states Jennifer Lisle, Student Transitions Advisor at the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology.
