Seventeen die of COVID-19 in B.C.; hospitalization down to 846
VICTORIA — Seventeen more people have died of COVID-19 in B.C.
In a news release issued Friday (Feb. 11), the Ministry of Health says the province’s COVID-19 death toll is now 2,747. Three of Friday’s death’s occurred in Interior Health.
Hospitalization due to the virus has decreased by 21 to 846 Friday. There are now 136 COVID-19 patients in intensive care.
The province says it registered 1,245 new positive cases, including 335 in Interior Health.
