RIH bringing on 28 recent or soon-to-be nursing graduates
KAMLOOPS — Interior Health is boasting about the newest cohort of nurses to be hired at Royal Inland Hospital.
In a news release, IH President and CEO Susan Brown says 28 nursing students — all of them recent or soon-to-be graduates — have been hired to work at RIH.
Twenty-one of the 28 are or were students at Thompson Rivers University.
“We are working closely with education partners and reaching out to graduates to offer them rewarding career opportunities with Interior Health,” Brown said. “We want to encourage them to enjoy the perks of living and working in the beautiful Interior region after they complete their studies.”
