Kamloops transit passenger assault under investigation

KAMLOOPS – Kamloops RCMP are asking the public to help identify a suspect in a transit passenger assault.

RCMP were alerted to the incident Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 8) around 3:20 P.M. Officers arrived at the North Shore bus exchange to investigate the complaint.

The suspect is described as:

• Male
• In his 50s
• Brown eyes
• Moustache
• Wearing a grey and white jacket, toque, and brown boots

“We are releasing the photo captured to help further the investigation by allowing officers to identify and speak to the person pictured,” said Kamloops RCMP Constable Crystal Evelyn.

Police haven’t released the nature of the assault.
