KAMLOOPS — In light of the B.C. Coroners Service report detailing the worst year ever for illicit drug deaths, a local advocacy organization is coordinating rallies for Thursday morning (Feb. 10).
Moms Stop the Harm says rallies will take place in front of the offices of Kamloops MLAs Todd Stone and Peter Milobar Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
The organization is calling for governments to take stronger measures to stop the opioid crisis, including decriminalizing drug possession and creating a safe supply for users.
