Kamloops RCMP investigating mischief and attempted break-in downtown

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are searching for a suspect after a downtown business was damaged early Tuesday (Feb. 8) morning.

Police say security cameras on the 100-block of Victoria Street captured video at around 1:20 a.m. of a person ripping a camera down, followed by the person damaging the business’s doors as they tried to pry them open.

The suspect is described as male with longer hair in the front, wearing an orange jacket, black pants, and camo mask.

Anyone who witnessed the attempted break-in or has information related to the investigation is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
