COVID-19 hospitalizations down by nearly 100 in B.C. Wednesday
VICTORIA — B.C.’s COVID-19 hospitalizations saw a substantial decrease Wednesday.
According to the Ministry of Health, B.C. reports 893 COVID-19 hospitalizations on Wednesday (Feb. 10), a decrease of 93 since Tuesday (Feb. 9). Of those patients, 143 are in intensive care, a decrease of three.
Between Jan. 25 and Feb. 7, B.C. reported 1,257 COVID-19 hospitalizations. The fully-vaccinated population accounted for 868 of those (69.1 per cent), the unvaccinated 333 (26.5 per cent) and the partially vaccinated 56 (4.5 per cent).
However, per 100,000 population adjusting for age, 89.8 patients were unvaccinated, 47.5 were partially vaccinated and 18.5 were fully vaccinated.
