NorthPaws manager joining Calgary school’s baseball program after inaugural season
KAMLOOPS — It will be the one inaugural season and done for the Kamloops NorthPaws’ manager.
The team announced Tuesday (Feb. 8) that Cole Armstrong accepted a coaching position with the Webber Academy’s Wildcats baseball program in Calgary.
Armstrong will move from Kamloops later in February, but he’ll return in May to guide the NorthPaws through their inaugural season in the West Coast League (WCL).
“Congratulations to Cole. We’re excited for him because we see our organization as a steppingstone, not only for our players, but for our coaches too,” Norm Daley, NorthPaws co-owner says.
