B.C. sees 32 COVID-19 deaths over the past three days; hospitalizations jump back up
VICTORIA — Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 jumped again over the weekend in B.C., reversing a downward trend.
According to the latest release from the Ministry of Health Monday (Feb. 7), there are 987 people in hospital with COVID-19, an increase of 41 from Friday.
There are 141 people in intensive care, up from 139 on Friday.
Thirty-two people died of COVID-19 over the past three days, including three in Interior Health. The B.C. pandemic death toll is now 2,707.
