Salmon Arm RCMP is asking the public to be on the lookout for a wanted man and his two daughters.

Forty-year old Caleb Gerbrandt along with his daughters Eliyah (14) and Avery (13), went missing from their home in Salmon Arm on Jan. 21. It’s believed Gerbrant took the girls and was heading to the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island.

Gerbrandt had recently been charged for sexual interference and sexual assault on a minor, and both his daughters were supposed to be staying at their grandparent’s residence in Salmon Arm.

Police and family members have not been able to make contact with Gerbrandt or either of his daughters since they went missing.

“We believe that Caleb is actively evading police,” said Sgt. Scott West, the detachment commander of the Salmon Arm RCMP.

“He is required to abide by a curfew and be inside his Salmon Arm residence every night, a condition which he is now breaching. A warrant has now been issued for his arrest.”

The trio are believed to be travelling in a 2006 grey Dodge Grand Caravan, with a B.C. license plate NE961N.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gerbrandt and his daughters is asked to call their local police station or the Salmon Arm RCMP detachment at 250-832-6044.
